If it is a storage tank project, a 3D PDF of the tank and floating roof, 2D drawings of the tank/floating roof/foundation, and a spreadsheet of the material quantities for the estimator’s use. If it is other than a storage tank project, a 2D drawing showing pertinent engineering data is provided.
We charge a low nominal fee for preliminary designs and information that will be of high quality. We charge this low fee in order to provide items such as a 3D PDF, quality 2D drawings, and extensive estimating information in a timely manner. Once a project is awarded, we charge an industry low fee for the final engineering. Detailing and drafting is a highly competitive lump sum price depending on the extent of the project.
Preliminary designs can be turned around whenever needed but we prefer to have 3 or 4 days in order to get it in line, completed, checked, and back to the client.
